Zoey is the tutorial instructor in Titanfall: Assault. As a commander and Pilot in her own right, she assists with onboarding newly-certified commanders (i.e. players), walking them through all parts of the basic and advanced tutorials.
At one point during the basic tutorial on the Training Ground, when the enemy commander deploys a team of Titans, Zoey personally deploys in her own Atlas to hold them off while the player sets up their own Titans in the squad menu. By the time the player returns to continue the tutorial, Zoey is still present and holding the line.
