Vortex Amplifier is an Ion Titan Kit in Titanfall 2. It increases Vortex Shield's return damage output by 35%. It unlocks at Ion level 7.
Vortex Amplifier has a very important detail that the game doesn't mention: it does not affect projectiles, only bullets. Since it only benefits against Monarch and Legion, this kit is not recommended for any playstyle. While it may be tempting for those matchups in 1v1s, the recommended kits are generally stronger even then, since Vortex Amplifier does not help Ion sustain in combat.
