Twin Traps is a Northstar Titan Kit in Titanfall 2. It causes Tether Trap to fire two traps at once, deployed in a V-shape at an upwards angle, rather than straight angle (which also slightly decreases their maximum range). It is unlocked at Northstar level 7.
Twin Traps is often considered to be Northstar's second best kit, after Viper Thrusters. It enhances Northstar's ability to lock down an area, making it more difficult for enemies to push through her lanes, especially when traps are staggered via walls. It is especially strong at preventing enemies from chasing, a can more reliably tether Ronins using Sword Core.
The combination of Twin Traps and Nuclear Ejection is also arguably the most effective way to utilize Nuclear Ejection, though it still won't be very effective on smart opponents.
