Pre-Mission Briefing[]
IMC[]
Marcus Graves: All personnel, this is Vice Admiral Graves. As you know, the Militia fleet remains operational in the wake of the refueling raid in the Yuma System, and we have deployed probes to a number of sectors. Spyglass will brief you on the results of the search.
Spyglass: Pilots, I have scanned all possible destinations within jump range of the Yuma System. Life forms have been detected in Sector Bravo-217, previously believed to be uninhabited. The Militia forces we seek may be hiding there, recommend an advance team lead by Sergeant Blisk to investigate with a suitable complement of supporting units.
Marcus Graves: Very well, so-ordered. All Pilots - gear up and stand by for deployment. Sergeant Blisk has command on the ground, good luck. Graves out.
Militia[]
Bish: Listen up, crew. The good news is; we're still alive. The majority of our fleet survived the raid with enough fuel to run for another month. According to the tactical computers, the operation was a success - but we cannot continue to trade human lives for fuel. If anything, we need to recruit more people to our cause wherever we can find them. Sarah.
Sarah: Two hours ago, we recieved this on the distress channel;
Unnamed Colonist: (Static)- we're a small colony, what the hell are these things? We need help. Mac, send the distress beacon now! Are they getting through the door? They're getting through the door! (screaming)
Sarah: The origin of the signal is from a sector that isn't populated. It's not on any chart - there is a chance it could be an IMC trap. That's why we're sending you to check it out first. But if these guys are homesteaders and we help them out, they might join our cause. Good luck, Pilots. Signing off.
Plot[]
Full article: Battle of Troy
Following the Militia's Refuelling Raid and escape in the Yuma System, the IMC continue their search to eliminate the Militia fleet. The IMC deploys a small unit, led by Blisk, to an uncharted planet on the Frontier, where life signs have been detected. Blisk uses the opportunity to field-test a platoon of Spectre automated infantry units on the local populace. The Militia, receiving a distress signal from this world, sends a strike force to investigate. During the battle, communications intercepts reveal the colony was founded by the crew of IMS Odyssey, led by James MacAllan. Now, forced out of hiding, MacAllan must confront Vice Admiral Graves - his former commanding officer from the Odyssey fifteen years ago.[1]
IMC forces deploy near the fields outside the town's wall, as a Phantom deploys a new rack of Spectres to assist the existing complement. As Pilots move in, they will pass a number of surviving colonists now captured by the IMC and ready for transportation to Typhon.[2] Militia forces deploy on the other end of the village, just in time to see their riflemen ambushed by the drones jumping over the buildings.
During the battle both sides receive a second message from James MacAllan who is angry at both sides for disturbing the reclusive colony. Choosing to throw in with the Militia, he reveals that most of the surviving colonists have evacuated to the ruins of the Odyssey and agrees to help on the condition the Militia evacuate them. The battle then moves up the valley into the relic, and the town is left a ruin.

Trivia[]
- The Militia Rifleman cannot be spared from the ambushing Spectre, no matter how quick the players are, the Spectre only takes damage once the scripted animation finishes.
- The Spectre killing the Rifleman via a neck snap leaves a very visible blood splatter on the nearby objects.
- Despite this mission canonically being the first time Militia units encounter Spectres, Militia-aligned Spectres themselves can be seen amidst their ranks.
- The Goblin IMC players ride in the intro appears to be flying backwards.
- One of the colonists (the one struggling against a Spectre's hand in the IMC intro) has an R-101C on his back, indicating they attempted to fight off the Spectres.
