The Syndicate Alliance of Free Worlds, also known as the Mercenary Syndicate and colloquially The Syndicate, is a coalition of mercenary organizations who moderate the Apex Games and control several planets known as Syndicate Space.
History[]
The Syndicate was formed after the Frontier War. They established the Apex Games in King's Canyon and with the help of engineers such as Natalie Paquette (who later joined the games as Wattson) and her father who developed the ring technology. The Syndicate offered fame and fortune to those who won the games.
However, a person unknown to the Syndicate who presumably wanted the games destroyed destroyed the Repulsor Tower. This allowed wild beasts to return to the island and cause havoc. This resulted in the Syndicate building new structures in King's canyon and holding stations for the wild Flyers.
The Syndicate also has rival organizations. Soon after the destruction of the tower, a battle broke out on the planet Talos where the Syndicate fought against one of these rival organizations.
