The Starburst is a mod that converts the burstfire rate of the Hemlok BF-R to five rounds per shot. It also changes its capacity from 24 to 25 rounds, to divide evenly into five-round bursts.
- Hemlok with Starburst suffers from heavy recoil, both vertical and horizontal, making it ineffective for long and even mid-range combat. Longer burst will somewhat make up for it in close quarters combat.
- Hemlok with Starburst does enough damage to kill a pilot with one burst.
