The Smoke Stryder is a variant of Stryder-class Titan that can be fielded in Titanfall: Assault. Upon deployment, it will move to its rally point (unless dropped on it) and release a cloud of Electric Smoke to heavily damage enemies in the area. It is armed with a XO16A2 Chaingun which, judging by the electrical discharges around the ammo drum appears to be loaded with Arc Rounds. Unlike its base variant, it deals significantly more damage to robotic targets than to human ones.
Strategy[]
The main use of the Smoke Stryder is its Electric Smoke rally point ability. Use this to prevent a hardpoint from being captured or to clear a hardpoint or area with enemies. Smoke Stryder are an effective support to tanks like the Ogre of the Thermal Scorch, but in desperation you can directly drop them on a point.
