Skirmish is a gamemode appearing in Titanfall 2, and the effective replacement for Pilot Hunter in the first game. It is essentially Pilots vs. Pilots with the ability to call in Titans, or Attrition without the presence of Minions.
The gamemode has currently never featured as a standalone playlist, with the only chance to play being in the Mixtape playlists (before the addition of Mixtape Matchmaking in the Live Fire update) or in Private Match. The mode has occasionally been added as a temporary Featured Mode, however.
