The RE-45 Autopistol, or simply the RE-45 Auto or RE-45, is a Pilot anti-personnel fully automatic machine pistol, manufactured by Lastimosa Armory and Paradinha Arsenal, that appears in Titanfall, Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends. It serves as a reliable "spray-and-pray" backup sidearm for pilots at close range.

Design and performance[]
The RE-45 Autopistol is a .45 caliber pistol intended for use at close range. It loses damage and accuracy over long distances, so it is not as suitable for medium to long ranges as the Hammond P2011 or B3 Wingman. However, this weapon is best used when sneaking up on unsuspecting players with the use of Cloak, since it still retains maximum damage at close range; just make sure the victim doesn't turn around though.
Alternatively, it works well as a spray-and-pray backup gun.

Titanfall 2[]
The RE-45 Autopistol returns from Titanfall as a reliable backup sidearm. It is often the choice of pilots due to its high rate of fire and extreme reliability. When a primary weapon goes dry, the pistol can fill the air with rounds quickly and accurately at close range.
This weapon can be upgraded with a rear-mounted Red Dot Sight, Suppressor, advanced aiming modules, high capacity magazines and advanced internal ballistics CPUs.
Full Metal Jacket and Hollow-Point ball ammunition is available, but more expensive High-Explosive and Plasma rounds are also commonly used.[1]
Unlike the first Titanfall game, the RE-45 is equipped with an Irondot Sight by default, as opposed to the Iron Sights present in the first game. This sight cannot be removed or changed.

The RE-45 returns in Apex Legends as a light-ammo autopistol. It serves as a weapon with a higher firerate, tight hipfire spread and zero movement penalty. This makes it a solid pistol, and gives it the highest DPS of any handgun in its class. This also means that for players who do not prefer the wider hipfire, slower firerate, lower DPS and smaller mag of the Wingman, the RE-45 serves as a good alternative.
