Piercing Shot is a Northstar Titan Kit in Titanfall 2. It allows Plasma Railgun rounds to fire through targets.
Piercing Shot will penetrate an unlimited number of friendly and enemy targets but will not penetrate shields or walls, as per normal.
Piercing Shot can be very funny at cheesing wins at the very beginning of Last Titan Standing (when all the enemy titans have just spawned and are grouped up). Otherwise, this kit may be considered impractical in PvP game-modes.
However, Piercing Shot is considered by some to be a must-have for Northstar in Frontier Defense, especially at higher difficulties, allowing her to greatly scale her damage output against clusters of titans.
