The IMS Thermopylae was a transport vessel utilized by the IMC Colonial Navy in the Battle of Typhon. After the war, the ship came into the possession of the Mercenary Syndicate.
History[]
It was a part of the fleet escorting the IMS Draconis to the site of the Fold Weapon, alongside a sizeable squadron of Goblins, Widows and the battleship IMS Malta. During the pursuit of the Draconis by the Frontier Militia, the Thermopylae was largely ignored due to its minimal offensive capabilities.[1]
After the conclusion of the Frontier War, the ship came into the possession of the Mercenary Syndicate and was used as the ceremony ship celebrating the admission of the planet Salvo to Syndicate Space as well as the admission of the Apex Legend, Fuse. There it was destroyed and cut in half by falling debris resulting from an explosion made by Salvonian terrorists known as Cracked Talon led by Mad Maggie which Fuse was previously a part of.[2]
