Goosing is a popular colloquial term for killing a Pilot in the air after they have ejected from their Titan. This move is best performed with abilities such as Laser Shot, or hitscan weapons such as G2 Series Rifles or the Longbow-DMR . Goosing is also an execution for the Tone Titan.
The challenge Gooser can be earned in Titanfallfor goosing enemy Pilots. At launch, completion of this Regeneration challenge required 50 kills to finish, but was later lowered to 5. Those who conpleted the original pre-patch challenge were awarded the exclusive insignia of the same name.
A Termination available for the Tone Titan involves an element of Goosing, with the victim thrown out of their Titan and shot out of the air with a 40mm Tracker Cannon.
Strategy[]
- The Arc Cannon is a particularly useful tool for Goosing targets, as the hitscan nature of the weapon means it has no travel time and the operator does not need to be as accurate as they would with other weapons.
- The Laser Shot is also useful for this in Titanfall 2 though requires more manual precision.
- The T-203 Thermite Launcher is a surprisingly powerful tool for Goosing. Boasting the largest projectile hitbox in the game, it allows the player leeway in accuracy, requiring them only to lead their shots a little (but much less than, for example, the 40mm Cannon).

- This term is a reference to the movie "Top Gun", in which an elite F-14 pilot known as "Goose" is killed when the aircraft's canopy fails to detach during ejection.
