Battery Back-up is a Boost that appears in Titanfall 2. When activated, it will give the player a free Battery, which they can use on their own Titan or that of a teammate.
Strategy[]
Battery Back-up is extremely powerful. When playing Monarch or Ronin, this Boost is practically necessary. That said, it provides a fantastic boost to every other Titan, increasing their survivability and core build time.
You can also use Battery Back-up to give yourself a battery, then give that battery to a teammate, granting a free 35% titan build time for each Titan.
Tips[]
- The activation cost for Back-Up is 80% of your Titan meter.
- If you already have a stolen battery, calling in the Back-up will drop the one you had previously on the floor. This can be used to grant your Titan two batteries' worth of Core meter, or to give one of those batteries to a teammate, to allow them a shield or their own Titan meter.
- Entering your Titan with a battery will also grant it 20% extra core charge, along with instantly receiving their Electric Smoke.
