Apex Legends Mobile was a free-to-play first person shooter (FPS) battle royale designed for the mobile market developed by Respawn Entertainment and Lightspeed and Quantum, and published by Electronic Arts. The game had its servers shut down permanently on May 1, 2023 after an announcement by the development team on January 31, 2023. Publisher Electronic Arts (EA) themselves stated that the reason was due to it "falling short of the quality and quantity of content."

Announced in April 2021[1], then made available in limited closed beta in India and the Philippines as per 27th April 2021 in India and later in May for the Philippines[2], in which it proceeded to limited regional launch in 7th March 2022 in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia[3][4] where players could participate through pre-registering and downloading the game through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. It was officially released worldwide in 17th May 2022[5] with the starting of Season 1, Prime Time, and a mobile exclusive legend Fade.
