When the IMC instituted martial law in Angel City, massive walls were built and a system of security checkpoints was created to divide the city into many smaller districts. The unfortunate residents of the Harbor District, now unable to move freely throughout the city, are only able to view the glittering skyline from afar. Pilots fighting in the city gravitate to the highly accessible rooftops, using them to cross entire city districts without ever touching the ground.
The center of the map is full of streets for Titan on Titan combat, which can be intervened by shooting them from the tops of nearby buildings.
Angel City is the perfect place for rooftop battles, meaning that both Close Quarters loadouts and Sniper specialists will excel on this field. Move quickly and utilize the rooftops to drop on opponents and cause mass death from above. Be aware that if you choose to stake out the roofs for sniper nests, you are open to the elements, meaning either another sniper or a quiet, crafty Pilot can get the drop on you rather quickly.
Angel City is one of the easiest maps to defend in Titanfall's version of Frontier Defense. The Harvester is located n the large courtyard near the water. This area can be very effectively covered by 12 Light Turrets, making short work of any infantry that attempt to enter the plaza.
This section has insufficient information and needs more content. You can assist the Titanfall Wikia by expanding it.
Angel City was added to the Frontier Defense roster in the Postcards From the Frontier update. The Harvester has now been moved from the courtyard where it was previously, to the smaller courtyard adjacent to the lion statue and the ship.
The map's only noticeable change from Titanfall to Titanfall 2 is the wanted posting for James MacAllan now notes that he is Deceased, while one has been added for Jack Cooper, implying multiplayer games played in the second game on this map occur after the events of Titanfall 2's campaign.
