Advocate is the alias given to a person, or persons, operating on The Frontier. Their allegiance is unknown in regards to the Frontier War, and are involved in supplying and helping both the IMC and Militia, through various means. Advocates typically only communicate through text message, usually signing off with;

The Advocates, in their attempts to manipulate the course of the War on the Frontier, provide "gifts" and favours for prospective Pilots of various factions. These include;
- Providing packs of Burn Cards and supplying the favour offered by the card
- Providing Advocate Gifts, as a reward for skilled pilots.
- Operating the Rank Chip service.
- Directly or indirectly influencing the Black Market.
- Providing new Pilots with their own Ion, Scorch and Northstar Titans.
- Providing new Pilots with 300 credits.
- Providing Merits to Pilots who win their battles and get kills.
- Possibly running the Coliseum.
- Operating The Advocate Network to help skilled Pilots find work.
- Regeneration.[1]
The Advocates also use the Smart Pistol MK6 in their clandestine asassinations.[2]

- The Advocate's logo features a Latin motto - "Primus Inter Pares", which means "first among equals".
